The Ghana Technical University Games is currently on and Koforidua Technical University is making it mark in this year’s edition that is currently ongoing at Accra, hosted by Accra Technical University.
It hasn’t been all rosy since the event took off on Sunday with the official opening ceremony organized on Tuesday.
Amidst the delay in the opening ceremony there have been some games, with most wins and few osses recorded.
KTU insider has short updates on few of the events that have transpired over the period.
In the ladies badminton, KTU ladies have managed to win silver for the doubles.
Also, the handball has been good to our ladies as they beat Bolgatanga Poly by 11-3 in favor of KTU.
Still in the camp of the ladies, KTU basketball ladies beat Ho Technical University by 19-13, also in favor of KTU.
Not forgetting, our guys have been on top form since arrival at camp.
KTU handball men came face to face with Sunyani Technical University. The sun from the East – KTU – beat Sunyani Technical University by 44-17.
Two of our lawn tennis players have qualified to the finals of the competition, namely, Samuel Antwi and Ishmael Lamptey, after the two beat their respective counterparts from Kumasi.
Last of all, our soccer men faced Tamale Technical University. The game ended in a goalless draw, but with Tamale Technical University’s refusal to play in the penalty shootouts, KTU qualified to the semi final.
