Team Nyame Akasa, a movement group for the KTU SRC presidential aspirant, Safo Kantanka Obed has issued a rejoinder debunking the statement issued by Sly and Styles which says their Presidential Aspirant, Obed Safo Katanka Does Not Meet The Required CGPA Of 3.20
KTU insider, Published the said statement on our Blog and Social Media Platforms after it was sent to us, upon our checks, Mr. Obed Safo Katanka CGPA is 3.5 which is above the required CGPA by the SRC constitution.
KTU insider has subsequently pull down the statement on all it’s platforms, we find it misleading and a political gimmick
We have no malice intent for Mr. Obed Safo Katanka and will like to disassociate yourself from the statement, we render our apology to Obed and Team Nyame Akasa and wish them well

It has come to the attention of TEAM NYAME AKASA, SAFO KANTANKA OBED AND BLESS RICHARD AGYEI a publication in the KTU INSIDER which states that our SRC presidential aspirant – SAFO KANTANKA OBED does not meet the required CGPA as enshrined in the SRC Constitution of our noble institution. The team Nyame akasa would want to indicate fully that the publication and its contents are false and urge the entire student body to totally disregard it with the contempt it deserves.
It must be stated categorically that the CGPA of SAFO KANTANKA OBED as at 15:00 GMT today stood at 3.5. It is rather unfortunate that some people will resort to such tactics to score cheap political points. The sole aim of that publication is to court disaffection for our campaign and tarnish the hard earned reputation of our presidential aspirant.
We further on challenge the authors of the misleading publication to prove beyond all reasonable doubts the basis and the source of their reportage to the entire student body. We believe in the electoral process of our great institution and we firmly state that due diligence was done by the EC to verify the CGPA of Obed Safo Kantanka to be even above the required CGPA.
Fellow students, we want to entreat you all to continue to support the Nyame AKasa team, Team Safo Kantanka and Bless Richard Agyei who have the concerns of students at heart and want to serve you with humility and genuine spirt. We have been confident of our prospects, especially given our qualification and the hard work we have put in but have never been complacent. We believe power resides with the people and they ultimately decide to hand it over to. We have sent our message to the nook and cranny of this University, hopeful that it will resound in the ears of students whilst urging them to give us their mandate.
