The multiple award-winning Event Company, Owtwo Events, has issued a notice to the postponement of the annual African Print on Sneakers club party. Tickets to the Event which is characterized as one on the biggest nightclubbing in the eastern region was highly patronized.
The notice by Owtwo Events;
“Owtwo Events deeply regret to announce that the African print on Sneakers Scheduled for 27th April 2019 has been postponed. This is due to an ongoing conference at the venue. We deeply regret any inconvenience done”
The event which was well publicized on all social media and KTU campus didn’t see the day of life, hence patrons were disappointed.
KTUinsider, as a media partner and a promoter of the event, was briefed that it was due to the concurrence of certain unforeseen circumstances. We learned that the Governing NPP party was holding a conference at the Capital View Hotel in Koforidua, the same venue for the African Print on Sneakers. The car parks were flooded with cars and couldn’t have accommodated patrons who will be coming with their cars. Security at the hotel was beef up because of the top government officials attending the conference.
However, the Club basement was opened to Owtwo Events for the African Print on Sneakers but the management of the event though it is wise to reschedule the program, because of the level of the standard it has set over the years. The management just didn’t want to create a room for any further disappointment.
“People started coming, but looking at the condition, we had to postpone it to be able to achieve our goal”; Elvis Kofi Okyere, Manager of Owtwo Events, added.
