One military man has been reported dead and two others injured in a military armoured car crash at Zebilla in the Upper East Region.
Eye witness says, the car hits a bridge before capsizeding and the bullets in the gun blasted but God being so good, the villagers were not hurt.
“The car hit the bridge and we heard a gun shot before we realised that something was going on. They said the regular driver was not around and it looks like they were having fun” – Eye witness says.
“When they got there their colleague was lying dead. They were looking sad and sorrowful when they came out to see their colleague dead,” one of them told our correspondent.
The two, according to the eyewitnesses, were put on a motorbike to their base at the District Assembly guest house to report the incident.
A team from the base, together with the two officers involved in the accident, was dispatched to the scene to pick the body of the deceased to the Zebilla District Hospital.
The vehicle was left at the scene until Monday morning when a Ghana National Fire Service vehicle was brought in to tow it away.
