Addressing the Press after presenting the petition to Takoradi Divisional Police Commander, the Administrator of the group, Benjamin Mensah popularly known as Goshes called on the Police to ensure that security is tightened within Takoradi Metro.
According to him, the rate of insecurity has affected the business of Taxi drivers because passengers don’t patronize them.
Benjamin Mensah called on the Nigerian nationals residing within the Metropolitan to desist from any dubious activities.
“We are embarking on this demonstration today because of the insecurity in Takoradi. If you had the opportunity to talk to taxi drivers, what they tell you is that passengers are not patronizing their service because of the lack of security in Takoradi” he said.
With regards to the DNA test, Mensah threatened that the group will embark a massive demonstration against the Police service if the DNA turns to be negative.
“This is part one of our demonstration. We are waiting for the outcome of the DNA test. We will welcome it if favors us but if it turns to be negative, the police will hear from us”, he threatened.
