A university lecturer this morning ordered his students to carry a big python snake in order for them to gain some mark as their Continuous Assessment (C.A).
The lecturer in University Of Maiduguri at the Forestry and Wildlife department stood there unconcerned waiting for his students to handle the animal for their marks.
When one picks the snake and he or she is able to play with it without being scared, that person gets the highest mark as his or her C.A.
Many Ophidiophobia are of the view that they would instead score a zero mark compared to holding such a deadly animal.
Others are saying the lectures way of awarding marks could scare away people from understudying such a course.
