A fraudster tried to ‘obtain’ rapper Medikal on social media and the reply he gave him has set the internet on fire.
The internet space is full of criminals who use dubious means to defraud unsuspecting users but of course you don’t expect a ‘mafia’ like Medikal to fall for any of those tricks.
The fraudster started with one of the commonest baits used in defrauding by saying she’s (it’s actually a man behind the post tho) battling with suicidal thoughts because of financial constraints and needs financial help urgently.
He wrote: “I’m currently battling with suicidal thoughts and it’s really weighing me down, my name is kelechi, I’m 17, I have only one sibling which is my younger sister, We lost our parents in the space of 7months and ever since then our lives hasn’t been same, we’ve been struggling like never before, to the extent that we had to pull out from sch, even for us to feed twice a day is extremely difficult, We are going through hell right now, I understand it’s wrong asking for help on the internet but please if you’ve ever been in a difficult situation before please I’m on my knees, please come to our aid, We don’t have anything to eat this week at all, I genuinely help, I truly do.”
Medikal replied: __ladykel somebody no get internet bundle sef, he no kill himself.
Obviously he knew he was dealing with a fraudster.
