In a dispensation of self centered individuals, it is nice to hear of people doing selfless acts to help the poor in whatever environment they find themselves.
One such amazing person is Naomi Awomeh, a class two teacher at Kubease M/A Primary. Kubease is a village near Ejisu in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
Naomi spends her break time stitching and patching up worn out uniforms of her students and also teaches them needle work. Naomi learned Dressmaking during vacations while at teacher training college and has decided to use her own sewing machine to carry out this selfless act which deserves much praise.
Naomi is certainly living the platitude, ‘Brighten the Corner where you are’. What are you doing in your own small way to show that humanity still lives on. Let us know
