To be given an attribute as “a pillar” in a family, society or organization speaks volume which is what this piece seeks to dissects and elaborate for the world to know.
Kwahuman is a known respected “enclave” with lot of successful business people across Ghana and beyond tracing their roots from that territory. A lot could have been achieved if all these successful business men and women had come together and push for a harmonized developmental agenda to the benefits of the entire Kwahuman but hmmmm…..
Hon Bryan Acheampong, since he assumed office as the sitting MP for Abetifi, Kwahuman has witnessed tremendous and visible change as follows:
♦Drilled bore holes all over Kwahuman as a way of enhancing access to potable drinking water in Kwahuman, which has been one of the serious challenges the people faced.
♦Created a lot of Job opportunities for the Youths, lobbied for jobs for a lot of the youths as well as assist those with skills to set up their own businesses, all in the agenda to put Kwahuman on top of the map when it comes to putting up drastic measures in place to deal with Youth Unemployment.
♦Malfunctioning/non-existing street lights have been restored and fixed, a lot of roads including the most delapidated ones have been fixed with some under construction.
♦Hon. Byan Acheampong’s Foundation has also contributed massively to the Economic and Social development of Kwahuman. The Bryan Acheampong Foundation is steadily focused on the following
1. Educational initiatives to curb the upsurge of school dropouts in Kwahuman as well as reduce illiteracy rate.
2. Economic Empowerment to give economic power to the populace to be more independent than dependent through Entrepreneurship and creation of sustainable jobs.
3. Sports and Agricultural initiatives which are two important activities that have the tendency to shape the way of life of Kwahuman youth be it financially, mentally, physically and also reduce crime rate are also part of the Foundation’s initiatives.
All of the above mentioned are some of the initiatives of Hon Bryan Acheampong which have had a huge impact on the lives of Kwahuman populace. If indeed Kwahuman had gotten about ten people of his calibre, Kwahuman would surely have been the talk of the town in Ghana and beyond.
Kwahuman can boast of successful business men/women in the field of manufacturing roofing sheets, tiles, cement tiles, nails, etc. If branches of all these businesses scattered across the country belonging to typical Kwahu people could also be established in Kwahuman as a way of adding up to the good work of Hon Bryan Achemapong, the youth would have benefited largely from this noble initiative.
Kwahuman is on the road to success with Bryan Achempong leading the charge and it behoves on you and I to lend him our unflinching supports and play our part to make Kwahu great and great again.
