Ghanaian rapper Edem has shared a video on social media which sees him stirring a pot of Banku. Denning Edem Hotor as he’s known in real life was seen with all seriousness stirring the dough whiles some voices were heard at the background hailing him.
Banku/Akple is the favorite food of the Ewes (people from Volta Region) — where Edem hails from. It’s a must as a typical Ewe (whether boy or girl) to know how to cook Akple.
There could be exceptions anyway. But those who’re not able to cook this particular food are either not born at ‘home’ or perhaps they didn’t have proper home training.
