Shatta Wale has taken Ghanaian journalists and bloggers to the cleaners over the trending list of top 10 African artists compiled by CNN which has since set social media buzzing.
There was no single Ghanaian on the list which was predictably dominated by musicians from Nigeria, and this generated much fuss leading some people to dismiss the opinionated piece with contempt.
It’s against this backdrop that the controversial Dancehall artist believe no-show by Ghanaian artists on the list is as result of the propaganda by the media to project some artists as saints whiles they marginalise others.
He also blasted the media for always digging into their personal lives instead of promoting their works, reason no artist from the motherland was included in the list.
