The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has lauded the Minister for Roads and Highways, Mr. Kwasi Amoako Attah for going hard on a Turkish contractor at the Airport Residential Area in Accra.
This comes after Mr. Kwasi Amoako Attah ordered the demolition of a concrete barricade put up by some Turkish developers constructing a 22-storey building at Airport Residential Area.
The Road Minister who was very angry upon reaching the site ordered for the arrest of the contractor.
The Minister has been widely praised on social and mainstream media for the decision to call the bluff of the foreign contractor.
Reacting to the action of the Minister, Kennedy Agyapong applauded the Road Minister for his action in the video which has gone viral.
The outspoken MP noted that it’s high time the laws of the country are enforced practically to punish offenders.
He then added that foreigners are taking the laws of the country for granted and must be punished accordingly.
Kennedy Agyapong further urged other law enforcers to emulate the Road Minister’s action.
