A young man whose name has not been publicly announced has committed suicide at Nkawkaw in the Kwahu West Municipality.
It is alleged that the young man who is 24 Years old has been mentally challenged for some years now.
He hanged himself with a sponge on a street opposite the Nkawkaw central market where commercial business in shoes and clothes takes place.
This sad incident occurred at the dawn of Saturday 14th December, 2019.
What led to his suicidal action has not yet been acertained but police officers have taken the dead body to the morgue.
Investigation is ongoing to unveil the cause of the young man’s suicidal action.
This incident has been very worrying since christmas festivities are imminent.
