The National Teaching Council is mandated by the Education Regulatory’s Body Act 2020 (Act 1023) to improve the professional standing and status of teachers in Ghana and to also ensure licensing and registration of teachers in the country.
The purpose of licensing and registration of teachers in the country is to enable qualified teachers to acquire a professional license and prepare teachers.
Before a qualified Teacher in Ghana Will be given a license by the National Teaching Council one is supposed to update his or her details on the NTC Teachers Portal.
When you login into the NTC Teachers Portal tpg.ntc.gov.gh you will be required to verify your staff IDs as a teacher.
Now those who can not verify their staff IDs, the National Teaching Council is asking them to send their current payslip and their Social Security and National Insurance Trust card to it and wait for a response in 48 hours.
