The National Teaching Teaching (NTC) has approved for qualified teachers who wish to change their name after their registration for the license card and the registration number has been activated at the NTC teacher portal Ghana to do so.
The Council’s staff has told EducationWeb.com.gh his outfit decision to allow teachers to effect changes to their names is upon a request from newly married qualified teachers partaking in the ongoing licensing exercise.
“Some qualified teachers especially the females just got married and we have to permit them to change their name by providing an Affidavit or Gazette at the portal,” the NTC official told EducationWeb’s Eric Owusu Banahene.
How to change your name on the NTC teacher portal after activation
- Go to tpg.ntc.gov.gh/account/login/teacher
- Login with your email address and password
- Click “Profile” at the left menu
- Navigate to your names on the right menu
- Select the name you want to change and upload proof of change document (i.e. Affidavit or Gazette)
- Click “Save” to submit
