As part of proceedings to ensure students are well trained in their respective lines of discipline, the governing body and various stakeholders of Koforidua Technical University (KTU) in the Eastern Region is hosting yet again another exhibition fair scheduled to kick start on the 2nd of March 2022.
The event, which is being organized chiefly by the school’s Faculty of Applied Science And Technology under the auspices of the Department of Computer Science in collaboration with the Department of Computer Network Management is set to bring to the fore, the various skills and ideas needed in creating a better tomorrow.
The brain behind the whole exhibition fair; Dr. Ben Kwofie believes that rote learning is not the way forward to break even in today’s job market. Rather, he is of the view that practical hands-on training of every university student is actually the way forward. As he will always say in his lecture room “Money chases ideas”, He believes this initiative is a step in the right direction to scout for talented students and give them the center stage to showcase their talents.
